I wrote this tutorial on 19th September 2007 and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please feel free to print it out for your own personal use but please do not claim it as your own. All materials and tubes used are copyright to their respective owners and will be credited accordingly. If there is something I have used and it is yours, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve.

This tutorial asumes you have a good working knowledge of psp and Animation Shop.
Supplies Needed:
Paint Shop Pro (I used 9 but can be done in any version)
Tube of Choice (I used the Gorgeous artwork of ©Suzanne Woolcott aka Gorjuss)
If you'd like to purchase a License to use her work, you can do so here: AMI
Font of Choice (I used Haunting Attraction & Freestyle Script)
My Supplies: Zip Here
Contains Halloween Paper from Melissa at Scrappy Expressions
Also has all the other supplies you'll need, if any of these are yours, please let me know so I can credit you.
Plugins Needed Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow (optional).

(You can drag this arrow as you go so you know where you are in the tutorial)
DOM Drag & Drop script from Dynamic Drive

Lets get started!.

Unzip the supplies. Open up all the Elements in psp. Except the Spider animation as we'll be using that later.

Open up a new image, 500 x 500 and flood fill with white.

Choose you preset shape tool, Background Null, Foreground Black(or color of choice), line width approx 10.00. Draw out a fairly large Circle in the center of your canvas. Convert to Raster layer. This next part is optional, Effects --> Plugins --> Eye Candy 4000 ---> Gradient Glow. Change the Glow width to approx 6.00 and the colour to orange or a colour of choice, here is mine:

Copy and paste on Halloween Paper and drop the layer down under the Circle. Over at your layer palette highlight the circle layer. Choose your Magic wand and click inside the circle so you have the marching ants. Selections --> Modify --> Expand by 5.00 pixels. Go back to your layer palette again and highlight the Halloween Paper, Selections --> Invert, and hit delete so you are left with just the paper inside the circle.

Now paste on the Spider web, position under the top Circle layer. Then copy and paste on the small spider, duplicate so you have about 3 or 4 and position them around the web in various places.

Copy and paste on the Plant, add a drop shadow and position on top. Then copy and paste on the Enter if you dare Stone, Pumpkin and one or two bats and position to your liking.

Add your tube and position where you want it, resize if neccesary and add a drop shadow. Choose a font you want to use, a creepy halloweeny looking one, and Type the word Happy Halloween, or whatever you choose. You could also do something like Trick or Treat or something. Convert to Raster Layer, add a drop shadow and position at the bottom of your tag like mine:

Finally add your copyright for the tube you used and add your name.

Now you can either save it as it is, or carry on for the Animation!

For the Animation......Open up Animation Shop. In PSP, Edit --> copy merged and paste your finished tag into AS. Now find the Spider Animation, and open it up in AS also. You will note it has 6 frames. Go back to your Tag and duplicate it until you have 6 frames also. Now back to the Spider Ani and Select all --> copy. Then go back to your tag again, which should have 6 frames, and select all --> Paste and paste the Spider Ani onto the tube frames. Position it carefully where you want it. If you do it wrong you can undo and paste it again until you get it how you want it. When you're happy, save it using the optimization wizard or however you usually save.

There you go, You've finished!! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial :o)
