Framed Love

I wrote this tutorial on 6th October 2007 and any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. Please feel free to print it out for your own personal use but please do not claim it as your own. All materials and tubes used are copyright to their respective owners and will be credited accordingly. If there is something I have used and it is yours, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve.

This tutorial asumes you have a good working knowledge of psp.
Supplies Needed:
Paint Shop Pro (I used 9 but can be done in any version)
Tube of Choice (I used the Gorgeous artwork of ©Genniday Koufay)
If you'd like to purchase a License to use his work, you can do so here: CILM
Font of Choice (I used Jannisaries) My Supplies Zip Here
(Contains Trio Frame and Journal Card Made by Me (do not use in any other tutorial without permission), Mask by Gabee, staple and Vintage Love Scraps. Also contains Pin by MzPimptress (Thank you Hun!).
Please note: I used The Frames and Journal Card from a Scrap Kit when I made my original Tag but as I am not allowed to share them, I made my own as similar to the ones I used as possible, those are the ones I've supplied here in the tut for your use. Any other item from the Kit I just replaced with a similar sharable item.

(You can drag this arrow as you go so you know where you are in the tutorial)
DOM Drag & Drop script from Dynamic Drive

Lets get started!.

Unzip the supplies and open them all up in psp. Put the Mask into your Mask folder.

Open up a Blank Canvas, 500 x 500 and flood fill with white.

Copy and paste the Journal card onto your blank canvas.
Now copy and paste on the Trio Frame and place on top of the Journal Card. Resize it if you need so it fits nicely on top.

Choose the three Tubes/Images you are going to use.
Make sure you have the Trio Frames Layer selected and select your magic wand tool. Click inside one of the Frames so you have the marching ants. Selections --> Modify --> Expand by 2 pixels.

Now go to your first Tube/Image, and copy and paste it onto your canvas. Position it under the marching ants in the first frame you selected. When you have the part you wish to keep in position, Selections --> invert, and hit delete. Lower the layer of the Tube/Image down under the Frame layer if it isn't already.

Again making sure you are on the Frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the second frame. Repeat the steps above on inserting your last two Tubes/Imges in to the last two frames of the Trio Frame.
Here is mine:

Choose a Paper of your choice, or simply choose a color or gradient. If you are using a paper, copy and paste it onto your canvas and drop the layer down under the Journal Card. If you are using a Color or Gradient, add a new Raster layer and then Flood fill it with your color. Again make sure the layer is under the Journal Card.

Now find the mask you put in your folder earlier and apply it. Layers --> Load/Save Mask --> Load Mask from Disk. On your layer palette, Merge Group the Mask Layer. You may also need to resize it so it fits nicely behind.

Copy and paste the staple onto your image, resize and duplicate, put one at the top and one at the bottom.

Copy and paste on the Love Note element and the pin, resize and position like mine.

Finally, add your copyright for the tubes you used, the Artist deserves credit, just like you do when you put a watermark on your tag. :o)

There you go, You've finished!! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial :o)
